Stupid Taxi Drivers

As you can see from my sig, I'm in Haifa, Israel. I had been waiting for a bus to go back to my apartment, but it was taking forever so I took a cab. The cab driver had no idea where the street I was on was, so he got out of the cab three times to take to random people about how to get there. He also stopped to talk to another cab driver in the middle of the road, who pointed him in the wrong direction. I had a map, but he didn't think I knew how to get there. He was surprised when what I said matched what other people said. Once we got to my street, he said, "Why here?! Why did you go here?!" Moral of the story: wait for the bus.

P.S. He had forgotten to turn the meter on, so the ride was cheaper than it would normally be.
